'Adela' Art Deco rhinestone headdressThis elegant side headdress is both charming and distinctive and would compliment any style of dress, especially an Art Deco or Edwardian inspired gown. It has been made with four c1920s sparkling rhinestone dress clips, each with a different stylish design.
Fashionable from the 1920s through to the 1950s, dress clips were used individually to decorate a dress or coat, or mounted in pairs as a brooch. Two of the clips in this headdress are signed "Gesch" which was a German trademark. Pieces like these are today highly collectable.
Adela can be worn on either side of the head and works beautifully in shorter hair. The jeweled element measures 13 cm from end to end and is approximately 3 cm wide. The band is wrapped with brown satin ribbon - please contact us if you would like to have this altered.
