The length is approximately 40cm: it has a J-hook closure so that the length can be varied slightly.
This is an exceptional and truly stunning necklace in mint condition. It will perfectly complement almost any style, from a sophisticated evening gown to a crisp white shirt and jeans.
This necklace comes in a beautiful velveteen and satin lined box.
From its foundation in 1926 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, until it ceased trading in the late 1950s, Volupté was best known for its elegant powder compacts, purses, and cigarette cases. However it also produced a limited amount of high quality costume jewellery which is now highly collectable. Many pieces were intricate designs of oriental, Islamic or Art Deco influence, usually worked in gold or silver tone metal and sometimes embellished with crystal rhinestones. Many have a soldered tag stamped "Volupté".
