'Savannah' moonstone and crystal tiara'Savannah' is an original French tiara dating from the early 20th Century. An exceptional and rare piece, it is in wonderful vintage condition despite being around 100 years old.
The design is an elegant interpretation of both bandeau and wishbone tiaras, with a softly sculptured shape that raises it above the hair in the centre. Both of these styles were much favoured during Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods.
This lovely piece comprises two bands of claw-set round and faceted crystals and two rows of polished moonstone cabochons, also claw set and of the palest blue milky colour. This is a rare and distinctive combination which is highly relevant for today's discerning bride.
Savannah has fixing loops at each end of the wire frame which will secure it in place. It measures approximately 3cm high and 22cm along the top row of rhinestones.
