1940s purple and white enamel cufflinks

Dating from the 1940s, this is a pair of imposing silver cufflinks with an eye-catching symmetrical design,

Made of silver, and stamped as such on the reverse, each face comprises a lattice of diamond shapes filled with pale mauve-purple guilloché enamel surrounded by white guilloché enamel insets. The faces measure 15 mm x 11 mm and connect with a five-link chain. They are in lovely vintage condition.
