1960s Bond Boyd gold plated floral brooch
This exquisite gold-plated brooch dates from the 1960s and was made by the highly respected Bond Boyd fine jewellery company of Toronto, Canada.
It is made of gold-plated sterling silver and has a wonderfully three-dimensional shape. The centre of the brooch is in the form of a golden petalled flower with a cluster of sparkling crystal stamens. The asymmetrical petals are in mix of matt and gleaming gold, giving a captivating effect of contrasting light and shade. The flower is surrounded by a halo of clear sparkling navette and round faceted crystals that add a touch of glamour to the organic and natural look of the brooch. Matching earrings are available here.
The brooch is stamped Bond Boyd Sterling on the reverse. It measures approximately 5.5 cm across and fastens with a locking roll-over C clasp.
