Art Deco gold and onyx 8-piece dress set

This handsome evening dress set dates from around the late 1930s and is in lovely vintage condition. The 8-piece set comprises double sided chainlink cufflinks, four buttons with fixing split rings and two collar studs. Each element is made of 14ct gold on silver with a finely etched pattern and inset with bevel edged black onyx.

The cufflinks have an elongated single link chain and each face is 11 mm square. The studs are also 11 mm square, while the little screw fix collar studs are 6 mm square. Each piece is stamped silver and 14ct on the reverse.

The set comes in the original case made of sumptuous purple leather with a cream lining.
