Art Deco red and white enamel cufflinks

An eye-catching pair of double-sided cufflinks by Lambournes of Birmingham and probably dating from around the 1940s.

Each hexagonal silvertone face is filled with red guilloche and white enamel in a striking chevron design. The hexagons measure 15 cm across and connect via a five-link chain. They are stamped Lambournes on the reverse.

There is a tiny manufacturing flaw in the white enamel on one face but this is not enough to distract from the appeal of these cufflinks.
