Attwood and Sawyer black and gold tennis bracelet

From Attwood and Sawyer’s portfolio of high-end costume jewellery, this is an elegant and beautifully understated bracelet that will accessorise any outfit from smart casual to formal evening.

The articulated links are in pairs comprising a gold-filled rectangle with six glittering Swarovski crystals alongside a claw set black jet swarovski crystal with a bevelled edge. It dates from around the 1970s and is a highly collectable piece.

The bracelet is 18 cm long and has a push-in closure which carries the distinctive Attwood and Sawyers makers mark.

Horace Attwood and Doug Sawyer produced an eclectic range of high-end jewellery between 1956 and 2001 at their factory in Porthcawl, Wales, under the name of Attood and Sawyer. Their original designs sold in prestigious retail outlets worldwide and featured in TV series including Dallas. They also created collections with historical references, including Wallis Simpson, Duchess of Windsor’s jewellery. Attwood and Sawyer jewellery is highly collectable today – it even has it’s own Appreciation Society on Facebook!
