Black and white 1940s enamel cufflinks

A bold and super smart pair of double sided cufflinks dating from the 1940s/50s and signed Lambournes of Birmingham. The black and white enamel faces are set in chromium and connected with a five-link chain. Each face measures 15 mm x 10 mm.

Lambournes of Birmingham was found in 1886 to produce spats, buttons and studs for the gentry. They expanded their product range in 1935 to include cufflinks, armbands and more, some under the brand name of Sophos.
