Carved Mother of Pearl bird shaped cufflinks

These unique mid-Century cufflinks are made of iridescent Mother of Pearl beautifully hand carved into the shape of birds, possibly white doves. Similar birds are often seen as brooches or pendants but rarely found as cufflinks.

The little birds link to a simple Mother of Pearl torpedo shaped retainer via a six-link chain and measure 15 cm across. They are is excellent vintage condition.

We see these as a lovely accessory for any gender, especially for a wedding where white doves are said to symbolize peace, love and a new beginning.
