Early 20th Century diamante choker

An exquisite and dainty necklace/choker with beautifully faceted round crystals interspersed with tiny crystal-set leaves, all in a milgrain setting that highlights the quality of this piece.

The characteristics of this necklace lead us to believe that it dates from the early 20th Century and is possibly Edwardian.

The necklace has its original safety chain which is quite unusual for a piece of this age. It has an engraved push-in clasp set with tiny square crystals and measures 37.5 cm.

Two of the tiny crystals on the clasp are missing but this really isn’t noticeable and certainly doesn’t spoil its charm, although it is reflected in the price.
