Glamorous 20th Century crystal fringe necklace

The epitome of 20th Century Hollywood glamour, this showstopping crystal fringe necklace dates from around the 1950s or 1960s.

It comprises incredibly sparkly large emerald cut baguette and round crystals arranged in differing length drops which give the necklace a wonderful undulating profile. All the crystals are claw-set in rhodium plated settings.

The necklace secures with a J-hook with three optional fastening loops so that the length can be varied. The strand ends with a large round crystal giving extra detail at the back when fastened. The depth of the fringe in the centre is 32 mm and the necklace length when worn can vary from 36.5 cm to 40 cm.
