Mother of Pearl cufflinks with a faux pearl

This classic pair Mother of Pearl cufflinks by Lambournes of Birmingham date from the 1940s and are perfect for day or evening. Each face has a single faux pearl in the centre and sits in a modestly embellished gold gilt frame. The faces measure 13 mm across with a five link chain between.

Lambournes of Birmingham was found in 1886 to produce spats, buttons and studs for the gentry. They expanded their product range in 1935 to include cufflinks, armbands and more, some under the brand name of Sophos.
