Red and blue enamel block pattern cufflinks
These fabulous double sided cufflinks by Lambournes of Birmingham date from around the early 1940s. Each eye-catching face features an iconic block pattern made up of infills of mid blue, navy blue and red enamel set in a gold gilt frame. The faces measures 14 mm x 10 mm and they connect with a five-link chain.
Lambournes of Birmingham was founded in 1886 to produce spats, buttons and studs for the gentry. They expanded their product range in 1935 to include cufflinks, armbands and other accessories, some under the brand name of Sophos.
