French ivory and green whaleback cufflinks

New Old Stock French 1930s whaleback cufflinks featuring sage green and pearlised ivory lucite panels in a decorative gilt frame. The sides of the whaleback links are engraved with tiny circles – a lovely feature -whilst the retainer is a simple torpedo shape. The faces measure 19 mm x 11mm.

These cufflinks were part of a recently-discovered collection of unused stock from an old shop in France that closed down, probably during WW2.
