‘Snapdragon’ vintage appliqué floral hair decoration

This beautiful floral hair decoration has been created around exceptional vintage lace elements.

The focal point is a never-used dimensional organdie flower appliqué dating from the 1920s. This has been set asymmetrically onto a ribbon of exquisite antique Victorian ivory lace and with a French antique metal leaf trim. Both the flower and the braid have then been lovingly hand beaded with dozens of tiny freshwater pearls and delicately sparkling Swarovski crystals. Peeping out from either side of the flower are some dainty leaves, also handmade from freshwater pearls.

Snapdragon can be worn as a forehead band, set into an unstructured updo or simply nestled into loose hair. It ties at the back with the vintage lace ribbon.

This piece is the very essence of femininity and would add the perfect finishing touch to a host of wedding styles from Edwardian or Art Deco to modern boho or natural woodland.
