Cinnabar red bakelite and cream carved galalith necklace

Attributed to Louis Rousselet, this wonderful French Art Deco era necklace has the most amazing contemporary feel and is the perfect accessory for today’s fashion-forward woman.

It is made of large translucent ‘cinnabar’ orange-red coloured bakelite beads alternating with creamy galalith beads that have been painstakingly hand carved to a geometric design. The beads are threaded onto a woven chain and the necklace closes with a patterned silver coloured screw clasp signed “Made in France”.

The translucent beads measure 2 cm across and the overall necklace length is approximately 44 cm.
