Mid-century Lambournes enamel tie slide

Raise a smile with this novelty tie slide in the shape of a tie!

Made of chromium, the tie shape has an inset panel of blue, white and red enamel in classic stripes. It dates from around the 1940s, was made by Lambournes of Birmingham and is in lovely vintage condition. The slide itself it approximately 6 cm long while the enamel panel measures 9 mm at widest point.

Lambournes of Birmingham was founded in 1886 and became renowned for producing affordable gentlemen’s accessories. It remained a family-run business for nearly a century before being sold in 1981.
