‘Muriel’ gold pearl and white floral hair vine

Muriel is a shorter, flowing hair vine that can be worn in many different ways and is also flexible enough to shape around maybe a chignon or partial up-do.

This piece brings togther a subtle blend of colours and textures, vintage and new. There are two different lace flower appliqués from the 1920s and a beautifully detailed milk glass flower jewel from the 1960s. Then we’ve added flowers and tiny leaves hand worked with ivory and vintage gold Swarovski pearls, vintage Czechoslovakian glass seed beads and little rhinestones claw-set into goldtone frames.

The vine is approximately 18 cm long. It has a small comb at the centre and the flowing ends can be easily secured with hair pins.
