Petite early 20th Century bakelite cufflinks

These petite early 20th Century cufflinks have a single link connector attached to the brass stud in the centre of each face. They are believed to be made from Bakelite, a synthetic plastic developed in New York in 1907 and widely used for decorative items until the 1930s but sometimes difficult to test. The faces measure 13 mm x 9 mm.
