Victorian silver brooch with rhinestone floral motifs

This is an exceptional late Victorian silver brooch featuring diamante set floral and scrolled motifs. The larger faceted stones sit securely in decorative channel settings with an eye-catching flower design in the centre surrounded by dainty smaller flowers. It sparkles with the mellow subtlety that sets antique jewellery apart from modern pieces. 

The brooch has an original tube hinge and trombone clasp that dates it between circa 1890 – 1900. It measures 5 cm x 4 cm and, whilst not marked, the setting tests as silver.
