1930s faux turquoise and eau de nil enamel filigree necklace
With intricate and complex styling this 1930s Art Deco necklace is a lovely example of Czech filigree jewellery from the era.
It is a fusion of intricate brass filigree beads and links with a silver-coloured plating that has rubbed and worn with time to give a wonderful vintage patina. The intricate central fan-shaped link is set with faux turquoise glass beads flanked on either side by two smaller stone set links. All five of these links feature little tulip shaped flowers of pale eau de nil enamelling.
The necklace closes with a J-hook stamped “made in Germany” that links into a decorative chain so that the length can vary from 39 cm to 46 cm.
