Delicate Mid Century crystal bracelet by Trifari

This is a beautiful, delicate bracelet by Trifari, one of the outstanding costume jewellery makers of the 20th Century and a highly collectable brand today.

The 15 articulated links are in a stepped geometric design evocative of Art Deco styling, and are made of rhodium plated ‘Trifarium’ set with clear sparkling and faceted diamante crystals.

The bracelet has a hidden push in clasp with Trifari and a crown motif on the reverse which dates it to between 1955 and 1969. It measures 18 cm long and 1 cm wide and is in fine vintage condition.

Trifarium is a shiny, non-tarnishing metal alloy patented by the Trifari company in 1947. The castings were filed and polished, and then plated with either gold or rhodium to produce a gold-toned Trifanium or a platinum-toned Trifanium. By 1951 almost all Trifari jewellery was created with Trifarium.
